THE EVENT

Art Now in the Hudson Valley

A Celebration of Shared Space

Live Art Auction May 10, 2025

Viewing & Reception: 3 - 4 pm

Auction: 4 - 6 pm

Ticket Price: $25

We are pleased to announce that the Garrison Art Center is hosting another fabulous live auction on the banks of the Hudson River.  This year’s “Art Now in the Hudson Valley” auction celebrates the shared space within which contemporary artists from our region create.  It will feature 40 works that express the natural and constructed wonders of the Hudson Valley and will include 2D works in various mediums. As an organization dedicated to inspiring local artists through the breathtaking vistas of our region and preserving the tradition of Hudson River landscapes, we are thrilled to host this event.

The artwork preview will begin in our galleries at 3 pm, and guests can enjoy refreshments while perusing the work. The Live Auction, led by Nicholas Lowry from Swann Auction Galleries and Antiques Roadshow, will begin at 4 pm. It will take place outdoors in a spacious tent along the beautiful banks of the Hudson River. Our goal is to raise $40,000 through this auction, which is our largest annual fundraiser. As a non-profit art center, we believe in making art accessible to everyone and supporting the future of visual art and culture in our region. Our mission is to foster an open environment that encourages the creation and appreciation of art.

Tickets for the auction cost $25, which includes admission to the viewing and reception, wine, hors d'oeuvres, a bidding paddle, and access to the auction tent.

We invite you to support our mission by buying tickets, donating, or spreading the word. We hope to see you at the event!
