| The ACF has been further developed to promote a positive environment for collecting fine art and craft. Focused upon exhibitor quality and diversity, the ACF also now includes exciting maritime elements, a regional food fair, and a remarkable acoustic music line-up. We've coordinated pre-event press coverage and a thorough ad campaign throughout NJ, CT, and NY. Metro North is considering the ACF for its One Day Get-a-Way Program in 2008. What's it all mean? Well attended, and well organized, the 39th ACF remains a premier event in the Hudson Valley for collectors of fine art and craft. The success of this longstanding community event and annual fundraiser funds GAC's terrific programs for adults and children all year!

GAC’s ACF was conceived to be a venue for artists to
display their work and an event which engages the community.
The Fair is a human endeavor which relies on a vibrant and
dedicated volunteer force to produce the event, aid exhibitors
and flip the burgers! The jury is entrusted with the goal of
selecting the best quality of diverse media so that the annual
8,000 visitors to GAC’s ACF will recognize the priority
placed on quality and our genuine spirit and good will.

The Fair is located on the banks of the beautiful Hudson
River, just 50 miles north of New York City. This riverfront
park at Garrison’s Landing is unique in its beauty, with the
grandeur of West Point on the opposite shore and views
south to Bear Mountain, Dunnderberg Hill and Anthony’s
Nose, and north to Storm King, Bull Hill and Breakneck
Ridge. GAC and fairgrounds are a short walk from the
Garrison Station on the Metro North Hudson Line. The
Garrison Marina affords access to the Fair for boaters.
The Garrison Community and Hudson Valley provide an
educated, sophisticated, creative and diverse audience.
GAC’s reputation for quality and imaginative programming
and productions, along with its 40 years of experience, make
this Fine Arts and Crafts Fair a must for artists’ participation. |
